Jerry Kemler is the man you call on when you need
things done now, and done right! He is literally a "jack of
all trades", and is master of all. As a licensed captain, commercial
diver, certified diesel mechanic, and certified welder, there isn't
anything that needs doing on an expedition that Jerry can't handle.
He started early in life with hands-on experience, working his way
up to Supervisor of Operations for a large marine construction and
salvage company. He continued to develop his skills working for
other commercial dive companies, treasure hunting companies, and
as a yacht captain. In all these endeavors he was known for his
organizational expertise, and his talents in the fields of cost
analysis, equipment management, project logistics, and site supervision.
Jerry has participated in more than 30 research and recovery expeditions
and has a reputation for being the man who can find underwater what
others have missed.
Jerry is also a steward of Mother Earth, shown in his involvement
with a non-profit Eco Lodge and Eco Foundation in Costa Rica, whose
profits go toward creating a marine sanctuary on the country's Pacific
coast. Jerry has been involved since the beginning in 1998, clearing
jungle, building, installing, administrating, and today the lodge
is world-famous. Whenever he is not treasure hunting, he spends
as much time in Costa Rica as possible. He became involved with
OCS in 2003. Time and again he has proven his worth through his many skills, toward
the success of every project.
